الملخص الإنجليزي

This research includes of the study Valley basin of AL-Manaee in western plateau of Iraq, which it ends at the Euphrates River in al Qaim City, Valley AL-Manae basin was identified automatically depending on the digital elevation model (DEM) specific study area by using 10.3 GIS ARC .Through analysis morphmetric of the basin have been identified characteristics of the shape ,the Terrain and the characteristics of the drainage network in digital data it was found that the Circularity ratio was low amounting to (0.31) this shows the shape away form the circular , proximity of the rectangular shape thus delaying the low risk of significant flooding with a relatively high of Terrain ratio (3.39m\KM ) The density of water drainage numerical and longitudinal is also low.

The valley consists of six riverine echelons which passes in the late stage of youth as seen through the longitudinal section while the cross sections it is clear that some of them suitable for the construction of dams
