The Egyptian Professor Ahmad Abdul-Halim Atiya examines Kant’s ideas in the light of numerous interpretive views presented by Post-Modernist intellectuals and philosophers.
He also demonstrates the most prominent readings which have been influenced by Kant such as Neo-Kantism, Structuralism, and Logical Positivism up to Marxism, in addition to the later liberalist and secularist currents which viewed Kant as the leading mentor of the Modernist era.
Professor Atiya provides answers for the set of questions which form the core of his essay, and the most prominent question is as follows: How has Modernist thought understood and treated Kant and to what extent have those readings proven to be true in view of the surge of ideological projections which Kant’s thought has encountered?

Le chercheur égyptien Ahmad Abdul-Halim ATIYYA aborde les idées de KANT à partir de visions interprétatives établies par les penseurs et philosophes de la post-modernité.
Il montre également les principales lectures qui sont influencées par KANT, telles que le néo-kantisme, le structuralisme, le positivisme (empirisme) logique, jusqu'au marxisme, et les courants postérieurs, libéraux et laïques, qui voient en KANT le premier maître de l'époque de la modernité.
Le chercheur a répondu à un ensemble de questions qui constituent le vif du sujet de son article dont les plus importantes sont: comment la pensée moderniste a abordé KANT? Comment les philosophes de la modernité l'ont compris? À quel point leurs lectures se sont confirmées par rapport au tas de projections idéologiques qu'il a subies?
