Contemporary ceramic artworks adapted the structural forming using the slide as an expressive method, as the ceramic slide is a form of art value which possess the eloquence of expression as well as achieving unity of form and content.

The instrumentality of slides in contemporary ceramic works can be seen in filling the emptiness and surrounding space and its ability to achieve structural and expressive concept through thoughts and technical approaches as a structural medium in many forms, e.g., leveled, arched, repetitive, specific, space filling and compounded, and as expressive medium through colors, touch, movement and stationary.

Accordingly, the study dealt with the forming and expressive abilities of the ceramic slide that reflected by some international ceramic artwork artists; hence, the results and the recommendations were as follows:Results :1-The ceramic Slide play great role in contemporary ceramic art works, being one of the most effective tools to achieve both structural and expressive concept.

2-The use of ceramic slide is connected to numerous contemporary ceramic artworks orientations that enriched arts in various schools such as abstraction, expressionism, structural and compositional … among other modern art schools.

Recommendations ;It is imperative to make use of contemporary experiments and studies which dealt with the use of ceramic slide as an element of formation in ceramic artworks, as well as connecting formation techniques in ceramics, especially using the ceramic slide to achieve structural, expressionist and artistic concepts in teaching such subject.
