New paradigm in reading the biography of prophet muhammad… : with some practical examples

The purpose of this study is to set an integrated paradigm for readingthe biography of the prophet, by presenting the personality traits of the Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) to the modern-day world.

Many thinkers and scholars sought to study the biography of the noble Prophet (SAWS).

Yet, many of them treated his biography and legacy as religious sermons and spiritual guidance texts unrelated to the modern human issue of urbanization, civilization, or reform for mankind.

However, the Prophet (SAWS) was conscientious to basic social, political, religious, and historical issues of humanity.

Therefore, a deep knowledge of the jurisprudence in the Prophet’s biography (SAWS) as well as deep cognizance of modern life and its challenges is needed today.

The cognitive frame of what the Prophet’s biography has offered to humanity, and what it can offer today, is absent from many previous studies.

Thus, this study seeks to set a model that links the Prophet’s (SAWS) methodology of carrying out change and reform, through his biography, to the problems of the world of today.

The studyprovides an accusative presentation free from subjective emotional tones through reviewing certain problems as Prejudice and Hijra.
