Education gained major interest among scholars, philosophers, researchers and politicians because it plays a great role in developing societies.

Hence, governments insured the financial necessary funds and resources for basic education, which is the basis for an economic and societal development to meet the norms of human development of all societies.

In order to reach this point, many enterprises have been founded to ensure the achievement of the educational objectives.

School is one of those enterprises that are considered the production of social groups to help individuals to face societal and economic life.

However, despite the efforts that have been made to develop the school, education experiences some difficulties that prevent it from accomplishing its role.

School dropout is one of the most dangerous phenomena that face Algeria.

In order to overcome this problem and other derived social consequences, vocational training have been founded to predispose those unsuccessful pupils and to integrate them into different social enterprises.

We will try to discuss its role in this article.
