Ibn Abi Tay (575 _ 630 A.H): A Sample Study of his Orientation and Resources in his Two Lost Books: Quality Biography and Imami Classes The revival of Islamic Arab heritage is one of the essential requirements for the reconstruction of nation glory for its present is connected to its past.

This is of great significance that makes achieving the aims of the society essential.

Our study of Ibn Abi Tay, Aleppo literary figure and historian as one of the Shiite imami historians for his knowledge and encyclopedia.

He is a historian, philologist and literary figure, of more than (60) books which are considered as complementary to the revival of the Islamic Arab Heritage.

The quality biography and imami classes are the most two prominent works of what he had written – Though they were both lost, their traces have been found by investigating many old books.

The first books dealt with two epocs of Noor Aldin Alzanki and Salah Aldin Alayyoubi who fought the Christians and European invasion to the Islamic Arab territory.

The second book included so many biographies of the imami shiite scientists with their classifications for the period of the last six centuries.

We tried to show his orientation, the style of his writing, and the resources he adopted in documenting his classifications.

since most of these resources were lost, we tried our best to revive this eternal heritage documented by so many historians, specifically those who appeared after a century of his death, thus benefiting from the knowledge he presented.

It is worthy to mention that nothing related to his works can be found except in the above resources.
