In his essay "Our Society under Hollywood's Threat”, the Iraqi researcher Haidar MuhammadAl-Kabi focuses on the rôle of American movies in forming global awareness especially in the Arab and Islamic worlds.
He remarks on the exceptional status of Hollywood and its effective rôle in influencing différent social environments and classes throughout its history.
Al-Ka bi also mentions that this influence has increased simultaneously with the beginning of the communication révolution worldwide

L’article du chercheur irakien, Haïdar Mohammad Al-KAABI estintitulé: notre société est la cible de Hollywood.
Il est centré sur le rôle du cinéma américain dans la création de la conscience universelle, tout particulièrement dans l'espace arabo-musulman.
Le chercheur retrouve la place exceptionnelle du cinéma hollywoodien qui exerce une influence sur les milieux et les différentes couches sociales tout au long d’une histoire entière.
Le chercheur souligne également la croissance de l'influence de Hollywood avec le commencement de la révolution des communications à 1>échelle planétaire.
