Nowadays, the outsourcing is a phenomenon enterprises more and more often resort to.

It consists, for an industrial or a commercial company, in “confiding all or a part of a function, assured before the internal, by an outside provider”.

The target of this article is to shed light on the motives in which enterprises resort to outsourcing, and the impact of these motives on the criteria which are going to spur a company on to choose providers”.

Using multiple linear regression model, we found that the motives of the decision of outsourcing affect the determinants of the choice of the provider.

These motives are: the difficulties of conducting activity internally, limited internal efficiencies and breadth of enterprise activity, having good offers to convert fixed costs into variable costs.
