When deserving the technical and ardutectural aspect of the Ksour of Bechar, as it is the case in the majority of saharian Algeria Ksourn one may realize the importance of security and environmental condition and their big role in shaping the architectural form of their construction.

One can’t deny the influence of the economic and strategic elements on the building oh hose Ksour, among with were the water sources and agricultural surrounding.

Thanks to their strategic location these Ksour were great centers of trade and commercial exchange.

They were also considered as transit areas for transaharian commercial caravans.
