The percentage and location of sports injuries varies depending on the type of sports, age of the player and level of training, if injuries are not considered at a certain level of players and during the competition, but rather in exercise and other recreational activities.

Including the objectives of research is to identify common sports injuries and their causes and place in the players of football.

The hypothesis of research There are differences of statistical significance in the types and causes and place of some sports injuries in some football players participating in the Kurdistan League 2015-2016.

The researchers used the descriptive method in the survey method to suit the nature of the research.

The research community was determined by the intentional way of the players of the Kurdistan clubs participating in the league of Kurdistan Region in the year 2015-2016 of (228) players, and were selected in a deliberate manner, selected from the total community (60) player only as a sample search.

The researchers conducted a homogeneity and equivalence of the research sample in the variables (weight - length - age and age training).
