The order n° 95-07 dated on: 25-01-1995 concerning the insurances modified and completed, determine the legal statute of the insurance adjusters, in parallel with other compared legislations, according to the Algerian legislation, these jobs are insurance adjusters, commissioners of damage, and actuaries in charge of the control of insurance companies regarding the financial capacity, to guarantee rights for the customers, in this side law of the insurances organize this category, and determines the nature of the activity of the insurance adjusters.

On the other hand the activity of the insurance adjusters following the case, the possible search (research) for the cause, the nature and the area (extent) of the damage insures whatever is the object, the role of the insurance adjuster also the check of the existence of the guarantee, and the evaluation of the damage to property of the objects of insurance, and then the insurance adjuster gives necessary directives for the insurers to avoid damages, thus the insurance adjuster with his activity plays an important role in the regulation (payment) of the conflicts which are born between the insurers and the victims of the damage of the properties covered by the insurance contract
