Tinged with oriental culture, his stories evoke much nostalgia throughout Egypt; the land of his childhood and the Nile; the source of his inspiration.

Witch makes his writing a love song for Egypt and its symbols.

Le présent article aborde l'attachement et l'enracinement d'Andrée Chédid aux sources et aux origines de son pays natal.

Teintés de la culture orientale, ses récits évoquent beaucoup de nostalgie à travers l'Egypte ; la terre de son enfance et le Nil ; la source de son inspiration.
