We report the case of a 42 years old woman with no past medical history consulted for a progressive decrease of visual acuity in the right eye.
Ophthalmologic examination and investigations concluded to the diagnosis of choroidal metastasis.
In patients with breast cancer, the occurrence of visual disorders should suggest the possibility of choroidal metastases.
Chemotherapy with or without ocular radiation therapy is often effective against eye disorders.
This treatement contributes to improve, in part, the quality of life of these patients
الملخص FRE
Nous rapportons le cas d’une femme de 42 ans sans antécédents pathologiques notables qui nous a consulté pour une baisse progressive de l’acuité visuelle de l’œil droit.
L’examen ophtalmologique et les explorations avaient conclu au diagnostic de métastase choroïdienne.
Chez les patients porteurs d’un cancer du sein, l’apparition de troubles visuels doit faire évoquer la possibilité de métastases choroïdiennes.
La chimiothérapie associée ou non à la radiothérapie oculaire est souvent efficace sur les troubles oculaires.
Ce qui concoure à améliorer, en partie, la qualité de vie de ces patients.
