Arabic narrative discourse has undergone fundamental artistic, linguistic, aesthetic, and fictional transformations, which led the literary scene to embrace experimentation with new methods and styles.

The much celebrated playwright and novelist Abdelaziz Djelaoudji is no exception.

He has worked a lot on experimentation which made his fictional and dramatic writings distinct, unique, and open creating a new literary genre he called “El-Mesradiya”.

Because narrative has occupied the literary text, “El-Mesradiya” seeks to recreate the dramatic text in a narrative taste without depriving it of its dramatic specificity.

Hence, this intervention attempts to explain the different features of this new type of writing which mixes dramatic and narrative styles through Djelaoudji’s Ahlam el-Ghoul, El-Tais w el-Nais, and El-Akniaa el-Methkouba.
