الملخص EN

This research aimed at finding standard levels for some physical traits of the students of basketball.

Thus, the researcher used the descriptive approach because it is compatible with the aims and nature of the study.

The sample included 30 students basketball specialty in the institute of Physical Education and Sports University of Algeria 3.

The researcher also used 3 tests that have high honesty and Objectivity degrees to measure the physical traits of this study.

After collecting and dealing with data with the suitable statistical method (IBM SPSS V25), the following results were found: The results of the students in the physical test were spread naturally within the normal prone.

Standard levelsof some physical traits of the students of basketball were defined.

The percentage and recurrence of each standard level were found.

Hence, the researcher recommends: The need for applying the standard levels of the physical test that were built in the test of the capable and best  performing students.

Adopting the standard levels that were reached by this study in evaluating the students' levels.

Making more similar studies that take into account the other physical, technical and physiological traits…etc.

Making similar studies in the other collective specialties ( volleyball, handball, football)
