Micro-CCHP systems use different prime movers.

The purpose of this article is to design a micro-steam turbine to be used in a micro-CCHP organic Rankine cycle (ORC) for using in residential buildings.

For this purpose, a one-dimensional model for a single stage radial inflow turbine is presented and the micro-turbine is designed geometrically and thermodynamically.

The geometrical and thermodynamical parameters of the micro-turbine are presented for ten different organic fluids.

The results are validated with two different references.

The comparison shows good agreement.

The exergy efficiency for all the cases is calculated
