The assessment process is one of the most important functions of human resources management, through which it can identify strengths and ways to strengthen them, identify weaknesses and ways to address them, and since the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Baghdad is one of the most important institutions of higher education and its faculty members are important elements Which depends on building the future and developing the outputs of higher education.

Therefore, the process of evaluating the quality of the performance of faculty members in the medical college is one of the most important topics in our time.

In this research, I will discuss the concept of evaluating the quality of academic performance In terms of the practical side is the preparation of an analytical study of the scientific branches in the Faculty of Medicine according to the form designed by the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance in the presidency of the University of Baghdad for 2015-2016, which consists of five axes and analyzed data to show the results to reach To draw conclusions and make some recommendations that would enhance the role of the process of assessing the quality of academic performance in the medical college.
