Among discussions about political studies debates, which address the issue of the value of political science as an academic field, and its ability to deal with problems and crises facing contemporary societies, and the ability to this branch of knowledge, and through the accumulation of knowledge that achieved since its prominence as an independent discipline in universities starting from the end of the nineteenth century and early twentieth century, to pay tribute to qualify theoretical frameworks to deal effectively with the challenges faced by humanity during the twenty-first century.

We will try through this paper to analyze some detail addressing the problem of: Are political science able -through away from descriptive research and engaging in the adoption of quantitative research- to propose effective solutions and successful perceptions to the crises that will be witnessing the world during the twenty-first century ?
