In light of the current rapid changes in the Algerian economy as a result of the globalization of its various manifestations of an increase in the volume of trade and the free movement of various products in the markets, which led to increased competition among the various institutions in the same market, which led the latter to bring about Radical changes in their activities to adapt to their surroundings and stay and continue in the circle of competition.

The environment is now receiving international attention, which coincides with awareness.

This is reflected in the establishment of the United Nations organization specialized in the protection of the environment in addition to the emergence of many governmental and non-governmental bodies that adopt environmental issues and protect them from the damage and problems affecting them.

It is true that the awareness of the environment emerged first in the developed countries due to the negative effects of the industrial progress that has emerged on the Environmental systems such as climate, soil and water, but this extended to the emergence of the conflict between environment and development that meets the need of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs.

Therefore, we find one of the most important policies and strategies that have been made by economic institutions to adopt the environmental dimension as a competitive advantage to consolidate its position in the markets.
