The present study aims to identify the effictiveness of a proposed training program to improve the level of knowledge of the mothers of students with learning disabilities in the city of Amman.

The sample of the study consisted of (42) mothers of children with learning disabilities, distributed in two groups: experimental consisted of (21) mothers, and the controlled consisted of (21) mothers.

The researchers used two research methods: descriptive approach & semi-experiential approach.

The researchers used an academic test to measure the level of knowledge of the mothers in learning disabilities, which consisted of (40) sections distributed over two dimensions: general knowledge and diagnostic knowledge.

The researchers prepared a training program consisting of twelve sessions, each session (90) minutes.

The training program was found to be effective in developing the level of knowledge on the total score, and the sub dimensions on the post test, for the benefit of the experimental group.The results of the pre-test also indicated that the level of knowledge of the mothers in learning disabilities was low on the overall score, while the study did not find significant differences in the level of knowledge of the mothers due to the variables of scientific qualification and age.
