Antique philosopy,notabaly,platonic as well as the cristian and the islamic religions downgraded the human body,they considered it as inferior than the soul.in modern philosophy,DESCARTES was on the one hand devaluing of the body,on the other hand he was grateful for his ontological value;contrary to SPINOZA who identified the body to the soul.As for NEITZSCHE,he was influenced by scientific revolution which was founded on materialistic explanation of the world and phisiological explanation of man.thus he saw that the body is superior than the soul.this later is only a part which is dependent on itself.the origin of human being Indeed the body.through it,vitality,will to power emerge.where knowledge,joy,and all values take place.the fact to benefit from the affirmative will to power of the body,itself will become a superbody and will create aSUPERMAN.
