Enriching this program requires instructors to choose the best methodology to introduce the language within its culture, especially because language and culture should be learned together.

This paper focuses on teaching the speaking skill through drawing caricatures, especially because caricature is a type of speech that conveys a message through its lines, colors and brief simple language that can be understood directly or indirectly.

Through my personal experience in teaching the speaking skill through caricature, I found out that this method is beneficial in improving this skill for speakers of other languages because: 1.

caricature is a universal language that can be found in almost all cultures, 2.

caricature gives the opportunity to the student to recall all the vocabulary items, ideas, information and knowledge to express the meaning conveyed through caricature, and 3.

caricature expresses the culture of the society in which the student lives, so the student learns the language within its cultural context which gives him the feeling of pleasure.

This study is divided into an introduction, a theoretical part, and a practical part to demonstrate some caricatures showing their role in teaching Arabic for speakers of other languages within its cultural context.
