The extended Weibull-geometric distribution : properties and application

This paper proposes a new model of statistics, namely the Extended Weibull Geometric Distribution (EWGD).

Various properties of this distribution are derived, such as moments, mean deviation and order statistics.

The study also discusses the Rényie and Beta entropies.

The parameters are estimated through the maximum likelihood method; simulation results are provided.

The flexibility and potentiality for new distribution are demonstrated through a real-world data set
