The aim of this empirical study is to examine the degree of both of the burnout and the organisational commitment as phenomena occurs among the teachers of midle schools ,and the relationship between the burnout and organizational commitment .

for reaching these aims ,we examined the burnout through the measure of Shirom and Melamed (SMBM) and we modified it to be suitable of this study ,and about the organizational commitment we have used the measure of Allen and Meyer whith some modification .

we applied it in the middle schools of Ain elkebira –Setif in the three schools Taboush ,Bou riashi, Shlali)we have used cotta sample of o3teachers,we received 40 questionnaires , The results of this study showed that the degree of organizational coomitment
