This study aims to demonstrate the role and position of linguistic planning.

Linguistic research is old in Arabic heritage, as it had its origins in the second century, represented by great efforts and profound academic competence.

Today, planning in general and linguistic planning in particular imposes itself on scholars to cope with civilization progression and confront a huge quantity of foreign academic terminologies.

For example, economical, agricultural, and political planning is associated with linguistic development.

Thus, certain required plans must be put in place to assimilate millions of modern terminologies and find alternatives for them in Arabic linguistic heritage through an academic approach stemming from within the Arabic language and its essence.
