Identity-related cultural conflict is one of the most important challenges facing colonial-dominated countries, which have become threatened by an explosion of sectarian strife and ethnic conflict, especially in light of the dangers posed by cultural globalization.

The crisis of identity in its national dimension is linked to France, the policy of Turkism, the colonial heritage (divide and rule), and the global cultural and linguistic references.

The aim of this is to hit the components of Arab society, and the fragmentation of the Arab world on the basis of sectarian and ethnic, and to consolidate the idea of colonialism.

The paper deals with the crisis of identity in terms of reasons and motives, and the manifestations of distortion, and the objectives of colonial powers.

It also presents future perspectives for cultural independence and civilization.
