Effect of mineral nitrogen, biofertilizers and culture media on tomato transplants production

The present work was done in a private nursery under plastic conditions houses in Belbeis District, Sharkia Governorate (Egypt) during ٢٠١٥ and ٢٠١٦ seasons to study the effect of four mineral nitrogen, biofertilizer treatments and three culture media on seed germination (%), vegetative growth characters, fresh and dry weights, growth analyses and chemical composition of tomato transplants at ٦٠ days from seed sowing.

The obtained results showed that, the treatments of mineral nitrogen and biofertilizer, the culture media and their interactions recorded a significant effect in both seasons of study on most studied characters, but this effect was varied from treatment to another and from season to another.
