This study aims at exploring the indications of civilization of the concept of political diplomacy that Andalusia witnessed throughout the Umaid era.

The study sheds light on of the most important models of civilization of the political diplomacy represented in Yahya al-Ghazal at Normand land (Denmark).

And it attempts to explore its goals, orientation and the manifestations of embassy and the most significant social, political, and psychological aspects.

Furthermore, it aims at uncovering Al-Ghazal’s personality since he was one of the most prominent figures in Umaid court besides, the diplomatic meeting and councils which get him in touch with the Norman king.

This study also focuses on the Islamic identity and the power as related with the Scandinavian territories and it tackles the capability of this embassy to be successful.
