This present article tends to focus on some links between modern painting and philosophy.
In fact, Merleau-Ponty does not start from concepts such as the beautiful and the sublimein his analysis of modern art, but fromartists’worksthemselves, especially those of Paul Cézanne.Subsequently,only the detour of the painter's indirect languagethat couldgive us access to philosophical language.Thus, we have pointed out some particularities of phenomenological analysis to which are linked Merleau-Ponty’s researches in his approach to the paintings of Cézanne, and in particular the mount "Sainte-Victoire".
الملخص FRE
La question dans cet article tourne autour des rapports de la peinture moderne et la philosophie.
En effet, dans son analyse de l’art moderne, Merleau-Ponty ne part pas des concepts tels que le beau et le sublime, mais des oeuvres des artistes eux- mêmes, dont celles de Paul Cézanne ; et seul le détour par le langage indirect du peintre pouvait nous faire accéder au langage philosophique.
Ainsi, sommes-nous arrêtés à indiquer quelques particularités de l’analyse phénoménologique auxquelles sont rattachées les recherches de Merleau-Ponty dans son approche des tableaux de Cézanne, et notamment de celui du mont « Sainte-Victoire ».
