درجة تطبيق المساءلة الإدارية لدى أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية في الجامعة الأردنية من وجهة نظر الطلبة

This research aimed at identifying the degree of applying the administrative accountability for faculty members at the University of Jordan, from the students’ perspectives.

the sample of the study consisted of (380) male and female students from the university of Jordan chosen by stratified random sample method.

a questionnaire was used to collect data.

the questionnaire consisted of (36) items classified into four domains: job discipline, work and performances, ethics of profession and personal behavior.

the findings of the stuy showed that the degree of applying the administrative accountability for faculty members in the university of Jordan from the students’ perspectives was medium.

also the results revealed that there were no significant statisticl differences at (α≤0.05) in the degree of applying the administrative accountability for faculty stuff members attributed to sex variable except the domain of ethics of the profession with differences in favor of the females.

besides, the results indicated that there were no significant statistical differences at (α≤0.05) in the degree of applying the administrative accountability for faculty members attributed to the college variable.

it was recommended to activate the application of administrative accountability in the Jordanian university through emphasizing administrative independence.
