الملخص الإنجليزي

This study aims to identifying the scientific productivity of faculty members in the faculties of commerce in the universities of the Gaza Strip during the years (2014-2018), The study followed the analytical descriptive approach, and relied on the questionnaire tool, The study was conducted on a sample of (45) faculty members of the scientific rank (professor, associate professor, assistant professor) in the Islamic University, Al-Azhar University, Al-Aqsa University, Al-Quds Open University.The study found that the refereed scientific productivity of the research is a medium productivity, with an annual average of (1.92) research for each faculty member.

Most of them are concentrated in local and international research and local conferences.

The non- refereed scientific productivity recorded the highest annual production averages for supervising postgraduate studies, Working papers, and official scientific consultations.The results showed that satisfying the desire and scientific energy are the most important drivers of scientific productivity.

The results also revealed that there are many obstacles to scientific production in the universities under study, the most important of which is the high teaching and administrative burdens.

The results show that there is a general trend of declining scientific productivity indicators, especially in 2017 and 2018 and There is a general trend of increasing in using the Research Groups method.

The study recommends that the faculties of commerce at the universities of the Gaza Strip work to encourage and motivate faculty members to produce more scientific refereed production and non-refereed scientific production , especially in the field of producing and translating scientific books, publishing specialized scientific articles and international publication of research in international journals with high impact factor, and participating in International
