private sector has a crucial role in developing nations, maintaining their political, social and economic stability and the entire development, and strongly contributing in social prosperity.

Yemeni private sector has a prominent role in these types of development in Yemen.

Unfortunately, Yemeni private sector encountered some difficulties which reduced the expected role it could have played.

Therefore, this research aims at studying and addressing these challenges and obstacles.

It provides about twenty five recommendations to motivate the role played by the private sector.

The study consists of three parts: the first addresses the concept of the private sector, the second the Yemen private sector and its economic and developmental role during 2010-2012, and the third the axes of Yemen private sector and its motivation through which (in addition to others), we can upraise and motivate the Yemeni private sector and its economic and developmental role.
