الملخص الإنجليزي

This research aims to identify the most important issues that the Hanafi School of thought has as unique and different view from other schools of jurisprudence on the issues of prayer and purification.

I adopted the research method of questionnaire and deduction, consulting and collecting relevant available material resources comparing and contrasting the views of the four schools of thought pertaining the two aforementioned matters and give preponderance to the strongest and most convincing evidence.

I have reached to a conclusion that Hanafi has been distinguished from other jurists in the above-mentioned matters because of the Imam's different approach in deducing evidence and he used to rely on individual information and said this cannot determine the absolute or comprehensive nature of the Quran.

He preferred analogy to individual evidence.

The fact of the research also revealed that the Hanafi doctrine has been sidelined from others in many jurisprudential issues, especially in the areas of prayer and purification.

The difference in Hanafi doctrine is the adoption of some sources, such as Istihsan, which was not considered by many jurists as a source of legislation.

Finally, I concluded with this outcome and submitted to students for some recommendations.
