The textbook is considered as an effective tool for educating generations to otherness, openness and the desire to know each other, a window towards interculturality.
Through this article, we seek to ascertain whether the French textbook of the 3S supports the cultural parameters without which, let us remember, it would be vain and counterproductive to think a foreign language teaching.
For this we have used a comparative analytical method between a few texts and iconographic representations taken from the French textbooks of the third year and others taken from the English textbook of the same year.
The objective is to check whether the French textbook of the 3rd AS, through its content, tends towards an education to the intercultural.
الملخص FRE
Le manuel scolaire est considéré comme un outil efficace d’éducation des générations à l’altérité, à l’ouverture et au désir de connaitre l’Autre, une fenêtre vers l’interculturel.
Nous cherchons à travers cet article de savoir si le manuel scolaire de français de la 3 AS prend en charge les paramètres culturels sans lesquels, rappelons-le, il serait vain et contre-productif de penser un enseignement de la langue étrangère.
Pour ce, nous nous sommes appuyés sur une méthode analytique comparative entre quelques textes et représentations iconographiques pris dans les manuels de français de la 3 ème année et d’autres pris dans le manuel d’anglais de la même année.
L’objectif étant de vérifier si le livre scolaire de français de la 3 ème AS, à travers son contenu, tend vers une éducation à l’interculturel.
