The aim of this study is to find out the effect of some variables on the composition of teachers according to the methodology of teaching competency approach in a descriptive study among a sample of primary education teachers.

Where we followed the descriptive analytical approach.

The sample consisted of 150 female teachers and 50 male teachers from the Education Academy of Mostaganem State.

In order to collect the data, we have constructed a questionnaire of "Teacher Training according to the Competency Approach" methodology; To analyze this data, we used the (SPSS) program, based on a set of statistical methods: Arithmetical mean, standard deviation, T.

test, one way analysis Anova.

The results indicate of the research that the formation of teachers according to the methodology of teaching competency approach has not yet reached the level required, Also, there were no differences in the formation due to the gender variable of teachers (males and females), While differences were found between the teachers in the composition attributed to the variable educational levels in favor of the educational level (Baccalaureate + 3), Differences were also found among the teachers in the composition due to the variable years of experience in teaching and in favor of (0 - 5 years).
