Tenancy agreements are the legal framework that brings together two parties, represented by the landlord and the tenant, and their opposing interests.

These conflicting interests were the main concern for legislators during the process of systemizing the exchange, while aiming to establish a fair agreement that preserves each party’s rights.

Therefore, the relating legal texts, especially those related to the formal framework, its insurability and authority, were reviewed and amended.

It is worth mentioning that this article deals mainly with the lease contract in accordance with the provisions of the civil code, without any other provisions taken by the organization and specifically law n° 05/07 of the 13th May 2007 under order n° 58/75 of the 26th September 1975, including the Civil Law, 90% of which was amended, making it the most amended part, especially as it is considered as the turning point that was translated into the seed of the liberal trend, adopted by Algeria.
