Abstract Sustainable development means the preservation of the environment all that they contain the resources and potential for the future and this does not prevent the exploitation of these resources, but a rational, non-excessive, and should think carefully about the future of these resources for future generations while ensuring used as usual for the time being.

Sustainable development is different from development in general in the fact that most of the research can not be the application of sustainable development in Iraq because of the obstacles that were mentioned in the third section.
