The effect of using the balanced scorecard BSC in maximizing the added values of scientific research in universities : case study on King Khalid University

The aim of this paper is study the impact of the balanced scorecard on improving the performance of scientific research in a way that directly linking policies of King Khalid with the vision,mission and objectives of the university and thus increase the added value of scientific research and enhance cooperation between the University and various universities and institutions.

in order to achieve this goal, the researcher analyzed a sample of (113) representatives of the research community such as faculty members and post graduate students at various faculties of King Khalid University and hypothesis by using (SEM by AMOS program), the paper is improved that the use of a balanced measurement card bsc leads to increase the added value of scientific research, also the BSC has a positive impact in the activation of the university strategy and increase the satisfaction of all parties that related to scientific research.
