This study aimed to identify the level of training needs among the educational technology teaching staff at Umm Alqura University, this study has been conducted during the academic year 2018/2019.

The sample of the study consisted (350) members of the teaching staff at Umm Alqura university.

In order to achieve the goals of the study, a scale was developed by the researcher to measure the level of training needs among the educational technology teaching staff at Umm Alqura University, creditability and reliability of the scale was verified.

The findings of the study showed a high level of training needs among the teaching staff in most topics of the five factors in the educational technology (training needs in relation to: computer skills, network applications and data transfer, e-learning curriculums, e-learning content management, the required educational devices for educational technology innovations).

Also, the findings showed that there were no statistically significant differences can be attributed to the study variables (gender, specialty, academic rank, scientific experience).

The study recommended that a specialized training center should be provided to the teaching staff at Umm Alqura University in order to provide training opportunities in all the educational technologies.
