Tourism contributes to the advancement of economic development, as it has become an industry as well as its interrelationship with many sectors.

Despite these positive effects, there are other negative effects on the environment such as the great pollution that accompanies the tourism.

In response to this, the so-called environmental tourism has emerged in the so-called sustainable development , And is considered a viable alternative to listening to natural phenomena and maintaining them in one to ensure their sustainability.

This paper is intended to shed light on the reality of sustainable ecotourism in Algeria and its prospects as a type of environmentally responsible tourism and its contribution in economic development.
