The country of Algeria suffers from the phenomenon of infringement of intellectual property rights relating to trade, where she worked and is still in order to reduce them through their quest to join the World Trade Organization and the subsequent serious measure improvised for in the TRIPS Agreement, and in order to take advantage of the many advantages offered by the International Convention Perhaps the most important follow-up to the perpetrators of the phenomena of rampant counterfeiting and piracy and the biggest proof of this interest the recent ratification of a number of regional and international agreements concerning industrial property and copyright.

Through this paper will deduce some of the observations, including that the effective protection of intellectual property rights in the short term will result in some negative effects for developing countries, Algeria, and one of them, is having to use the original products more expensive, of course, counterfeit products, but that in the medium term and long term will have some positive effects is to promote creativity and strengthened at the local level and even international.
