The purpose of the article is to analyze the process of alienation in Louis Gardel's story, The Bay of Algiers (2007) and to show how the novelist manipulates sources of alienation in literary structures.
This novel, deeply marked by the political conflicts and the repulsions of the war, expresses the disorder and the chaos of the world.
Our work will consist in presenting answers to the questions about the transformative capacity of cultural creations in the literary circle, and will focus on the various definitions that are interested in the study of the process of alienation and the sources of this phenomenon.

Le but de cet article est d'analyser le processus d'aliénation dans le récit de Louis Gardel, La Baie d'Alger (2007) et de montrer comment le romancier manie-t-il les sources d'aliénation en structures littéraires.
Ce roman, profondément marqué par les conflits politiques et les répulsions de la guerre, traduit le désordre et le chaos du monde.
Notre travail consistera à présenter des réponses aux interrogations sur l'aptitude transformatrice des créations culturelles dans le cercle littéraire, et portera sur les différentes définitions qui s'intéressent à l'étude du processus d'aliénation et les sources de ce phénomène.
