This article discusses the re-actualization of the figure of the Shakespearean hero Hamlet through the terrorist character Seyf el Islam from Salim Bachi’s novel Kill Them All.
We propose to see how the Algerian author restores this mythical figure to forge the portrait of the terrorist hesitating before the crime he is destined to commit, that of plunging a plane into one of the twin towers of the World Trade Center.
As we approach the construction of the character, we will observe in this analysis how the rewriting of the figure of Hamlet, while calling on other protagonists of the play such as Ophelia and the Ghost, tends to deconstruct the literary myth and reconstruct it to give it new meaning.

Le présent article aborde la réactualisation de la figure du héros shakespearien Hamlet à travers le personnage du terroriste Seyf el Islam du roman Tuez-les Tous de Salim Bachi.
Nous proposons de voir comment l'auteur algérien restitue cette figure mythique pour forger le portrait du terroriste hésitant devant le crime qu'il est destiné à commettre, celui de précipiter un avion dans l'une des tours jumelles du World Trade Center.
En abordant la construction du le personnage, nous observerons dans cette analyse comment la réécriture de la figure d'Hamlet, tout en faisant appel à d'autres protagonistes de la pièce de théâtre telle Ophélie et le Spectre, tend à déconstruire le mythe littéraire et le reconstruire pour en donner un sens nouveau.
