الملخص EN

This research tries to answer the main questions of (What is the concept of prohibiting what may lead to committing sins, how far it is related to the objectives of sharia, what are the working rules of prohibiting what may lead to committing sins, and what are the applications of this rule according to the old and contemporary scholars? ).

Accordingly, this research is divided into three chapters and a conclusion.

The first chapter is dedicated to trace the concept of prohibiting what may lead to committing sins and its relation to the objectives of Sharia.

The second chapter displays the divisions and working rules of prohibiting what may lead to committing sins.

The third chapter highlights the applications utilized by old and contemporary scholars to prohibit what may lead to committing sins throughout acts of worship.

Finally, the research concludes with the most important results reached by the end of the research.

For example, if the act was committed on purpose so as to lead to corruption, it must be prevented.

It is known that people's intentions are unseen matters, but Imam Malik considered the large number of occurrences a sign of intent when the committing the act leads to definite or most probable corruption.

In this case the excuse is blocked and prohibited, but if corruption is not achieved or it was little or rare, the excuse is not prevented then.

If the excuse is blocked, then there is no difference between those accused of committing the prohibited sin and those who are not accuse.

Prohibiting what may lead to committing sins includes even the people of other religions who are not addressed by the accusations, and the suspicions are not attached to them, as an exclusive act, and a generalization of the rule of prevention.

Another result is that the means does not prevent the sin if there is another means by which it reaches the same fate, so preventing the means which may lead to corruption, while there is another way to reach the same end, is neither considered a prohibition nor a pretext for its commitment nor a benefit from it.

Regarding the contemporary applications related to the roots of excuses in worship, preventing praying in mosques while wearing shoes, and preventing non-Palestinians from visiting Al-Aqsa Mosque as long as it is under Zionist occupation, determining the numbers of pilgrims, specifying times of prayers, and preventing those who do not have legal certificates from the Imamate.
