The threshold of inscription can be regarded as one of the textual thresholds that we should deeply consider in the field of approaching and analyzing texts for distinguishing their hidden patterns, and for identifying the reasons standing behind their formulation in one way or the other.

The failure to study this textual threshold implies that we ignore a guide and milestone which can shed light on some of the text corridors.

Furthermore, this can reflect some of the author's human emotions and some of his expertise in his conscious intercommunication with the others as components of the human and social fabric bound with inextricable integrative relationship based on the interactive, integrating, correlative, and cohesive principle of dialoguing and continuity.

In this context, we introduce 'The Inscription as a Textual Companion in Yasmina Salah's Novel "Wattan Min Zoujaj" as an interpretation of the increased interest in this discourse through a practical crystallization of its connotative implications and its role in improving, comprehending and tasting the techniques of a literary work.

This extends to the latter's role in the process of learning, taking advantage of Western, modern and current Arabic critical research in the field of intertextual studies, and in the area of textual companion in particular.
