summary: Every word of the language has a lexical and contextual meaning.

The word outside the context is likely to have several meanings, in its interior its meaning is determined and controlled.

In this context, the context is of great importance in determining the meanings of multi-meaning words, such as verbal participants, whereas Arab linguists, who were old and modern, paid great attention to their studies, but also to its emergence as a theory of the autonomous language for the Westerners, it was known by the contextual theory.

In this study, we are based on contextual meaning in one of the oldest lexicons of meanings or subjects; it is the dictionary of "words" "Ibn al-Skeit" underlining its great role in the control and the identification of the meanings of certain words contained in this dictionary.
