The genogram is considered by tools that discover the psychological phenomenon and diagnose its aspects and then determine the relationship between its elements, and from it and a clear and simple graphic; gives us a summary of the case studied, so she shows us the medical side, in the family from three generations (grandparents, parents, children), and to clarify this tool it has been applied by the researcher to study an educational phenomenon which is "school delay", which gives us a picture of the backwardness of schooling and how its diagnosis is reflected through the genogram and to arrive at a practical example.
