This study aims to clarify the Social Sciences curriculum by examining the differences between content, methods of teaching and into which extent they meet with the requirement of learning process according to Piaget theory, .

In order to conduct this study, a questionnaire of thirty-eight (38) questions was distributed among seventy-five (75) high school in Oran city, The results showed that social-sciences was not in harmony with the pupil's mental development.

In addition, it did not develop the social values, since social sciences and evaluating are not in the same foot with the pupil level.
