This article attempts to discover ways of using the Illustrated Dictionary in the educational-educational process, by defining its educational objectives and monitoring its procedural problems; by providing a definition of this lexicon, and to highlight the justification for employment in the classroom, which are three reasons: linguistic, cognitive, functional, with the identification of scientific areas and study subjects that could be exploited, And to determine the expected results of its use, such as the development of linguistic wealth, Language acquisition, and bridging of lexical gaps, Standardization of scientific terms, and keep pace with the development of civilization, without neglecting to talk about the most important economic, organizational, methodological, technical and linguistic obstacles hindering its employment, while proposing solutions to them; to help the teacher and learner to make good use of this pedagogical method in the classroom.
