Abstract EN

This study, entitled: ''Representations of the Civilization Conflict in ''Siraba'' novel by Mohamed Saadoun, aims to try to address the issue of civilization conflict that has manifested in it through several levels: selves conflict, and the symbolism of the clash of civilization, in which we touched on the conflict between the Algerian young guy character, and the personality the heroine ''Siraba'', and the representation of this conflict by the clash of the civilization of each character, and the presence of the African city versus the European city, and the representation of each city to its civilization.

The alienation in which we touched upon is two alienations: one myself and the other existential, and at the level of nostalgia we tried to show the relationship that binds the same or the personality of that young Algerian to his homeland and his belonging to him, and the element of women and sex, which was not the predominant in the novel through which we touched on the issue of sex that was not the most common in the novel, so we touched through the issue of sex that was not not addressed as a detailed matter by the author but he was referring to this relationship without detailing, and these elements represented the civilization conflict that were extracted through this novel work that deals with the clash of civilization; Islamic, African and European civilization.
